About this place
A short walk off the shopping streets of Kameari brings you to the clean white storefront of Craftice. In the display case, seasonal fruits and fresh ingredients feature alongside everyday anchors like Hokkaido milk and chocolate, with flavors shifting on a regular basis.
Orders come in cups or cones with choices spanning from 1 to 3 flavors, leaving plenty of room to mix and match. Hokkaido milk brings a creamy depth without excess sugar, letting companion scoops shine, while pistachio delivers a roasty nuttiness and chocolate offers an assertive cocoa backbone—each treated with a light hand to preserve the character of the base ingredients.
Seasonal fruits and specialty concoctions are equally enticing. Fruit-forward scoops such as Quincy melon from Ibaraki Prefecture's Hokota, tart Nanko ume plum, white peach, and stone plums retain juicy aromas and fruit pulp texture. Distinctive creations like salted caramel accented with French Guérande sea salt and violet cider colored with butterfly pea tea offer engaging flavor pairings to explore.
Between scoops or right after, coffee options such as espresso, Americanos, and café lattes provide a crisp contrast. Both matcha and hojicha lattes come hot or iced, cutting neatly through the sweet chill of the gelato.
With kid-sized portions for elementary school children and younger, plus lidded takeaway cups for travel, the shop works as naturally for a park-bench snack during an afternoon stroll as it does for bringing treats home.
